My process begins with understanding the person, not simply the property. I look at how a home is experienced — how light, sound, movement, privacy, materials and routine affect everyday life — before developing the architecture.

A process built around people

A home is more than its floor plan.

Residential architecture is ultimately about supporting everyday life. Before thinking about rooms as shapes on a drawing, I look at routines, sensory experience, wellbeing, privacy, connection, light, acoustics, movement, familiarity and personal identity. The aim is not to impose a style, but to understand what the home needs to respond to.

The first stage is about conversation rather than solutions. We explore how you live, what works, what does not, and what you want the home to become.
